Who is invited to the Festival?
The Festival is only open to women born women, girl children and nursing boys younger than 18 months old.
Who puts on the Festival?
The Festival is run entirely by volunteers. We co-create the space and make the event happen. Everyone does a work shift, as well as participates in clean-up.
What kind of facilities are available?
The Festival is held at a camping only venue. There are no bunkhouses, cabins, or indoor beds at this time. You must bring bring everything you need. There is well water on site and it is potable water. No other water is provided.
There are a limited number of RV sites available with electrical and water hook-ups. You must arrange for an RV site in adavnce and pay the RV fee directly to the venue.
The closest motel is the Outpost Motel in Dripping Springs. We recommend early registration because it is a small facility.
Ice is available from the venue for $2 per bag.
There is an above ground pool available for our use. Only adults 18 and older may swim without a parent or lifeguard. You must latch and lock the pool gate when entering and leaving the pool area. Everyone of us is responsible for ensuring that no children are left unattended in or near the pool area.
Can I take pictures or videos?
In order to maintain a space that feels safe for individuals to grow and expand their boundaries, youu may NOT take photos or videos without first getting the express permission of each and every person in the photo, this includes those in the background and the parent or guardian of any child les than 18 years old. These rules apply to taking photos or video of the talent show.
How can I get involved?
Our community is full of talent and wisdom. We invite you to offer a workshop, participate in the talent show, or spend time with our maidens. Sign up sheets are at the registration table.
The Market Place and Healing Grove are two of the jewels of the festival. If you are interested in having space in one them you must provide everything you will need. That includes tents, tables, change, extension cords, chairs, everything.
Can I leave the camp grounds?
The properties adjacent to the event are private land, including the properties across the creek. You may NOT cross fences, boundary tapes or other posted boundary markers. Violation will result in expulsion from the event and the property without a refund.
Oor agreement with the venue require that no one may enter or leave the premises between midnight and 9am. In the case of an emergency, a $25 after-hours gate fee will apply.
You didn't ask but need to know
The site must be returned to its pre-Festival, original condition by you. You are responsible for disposing of your own trash, compost and recycling materials. You must not litter during the event and must share responsibility for helping to keep all areas clean.
